This target emphasizes the importance of energy-efficient solutions as <\/span><b>companies and governments in the EU modernize and digitize their operations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Many IT infrastructure solutions providers and European data centre operators have already taken proactive measures to meet these targets. For example, they offer flexible scaling of IT resources to reduce their environmental footprint, use 100% renewable energy, adopt advanced cooling technologies, and deploy waste heat recovery technologies. They are also reusing waste heat from data centres to heat homes and businesses, which positively impacts the communities around them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To further facilitate progress towards these goals, <\/span><b>this event will bring together experts from the IT infrastructure solutions providers, data centre operators, policymakers, and representatives of the EU public authorities across the EU<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
